Bergans of Norway CEO quits
Leif Holst-Liaeker exits after apparent disagreement with board
Bergans of Norway has parted company with CEO Leif Holst-Liaeker, with supply chain director Jan Tore Jensen taking up the role.
“He knows the history, the company and the employees well. The Executive Board is therefore certain that Bergans will continue to be in good hands in the future,” said a statement.
According to Norwegian media reports, there were disagreements with the Supervisory Board, in particular due to rising losses. Bergans of Norway’s deficits have risen from 5.7m Norwegian kroner (€590,000) to 18.9m Norwegian kroner (€1.97m) since Holst-Liaeker took office.
