Garmont backs Treviso Creativity Week

Showcase encourages entrepreneurs

Garmont has re-confirmed its collaboration with the Treviso Creativity Week, which will take place this year in Treviso from 20th to 27th October.

The Italian company will be main sponsor of the event dedicated to creativity and new talents, and present a special award to the startup that, according to the official announcement, “will propose the most significant project in the field of environmental sustainability and eco-sustainable development, contact with nature and re-evaluation of the territory, namely outdoors in the forms of tourism, outdoor sports, training and educational activities but also integration of different cultures”.

A prize to reward the idea that best integrates outdoor living with long-term sustainability, directed at enhancing the territory. The Garmont Special Award therefore aims to encourage and support the startup company most capable of interpreting the “#staywild spirit” that represents the philosophy of the company, undertaking to find innovative solutions for a sustainable future.

“We are particularly pleased to continue our partnership with Treviso Creativity Week”, commented Pierangelo Bressan, President of Garmont International, “and to strengthen it with the creation of an award strongly inspired by our philosophy. As an entrepreneur, I feel a strong responsibility to support and encourage entrepreneurship, local and not only: our country has a great need for good ideas and innovative minds, and we look forward to meeting the next Garmont Award winners.”

Creativity Week was established in Treviso to give space to those who decided to invest in themselves and their ideas, focusing on innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship. It is a showcase for talents from everywhere in Italy, who can present their startups and share ideas with other young entrepreneurs, but also with already established companies. In 2018 Creativity Week saw more than1500 participants interacting with 60 lecturers and meeting 30 project partners.
