GP Batteries has teamed up with Regatta Great Outdoors, to launch a range of powerbank heated waterproof jackets to the high street this autumn.

Regatta’s women’s Voltera Heated Jacket and men’s Volter Shield Heated Jacket (both with an RRP of £240) will feature GP’s rechargeable M-Series powerbank that operates two heated chest panels and one heated back panel for over six hours of continuous heat output.

There are three levels of heat available (with safety cut off), which lets users choose their ideal temperature depending on their activity.

Furthermore, GP’s M-Series is able to power two devices at once, meaning wearers of the jackets can heat their jacket and charge their phone or other devices at the same time.

There are six different safety precautions built-into the M-Series including; over charge and discharge protection, over voltage protection, over current protection, short circuit protection, over and under temperature protection and loop back protection.

Marketing Manager for GP Batteries UK James Tuck, said: “GP is committed to the outdoors and to eco-friendly rechargeable technology in order to reduce environmental waste. Our powerbanks encourage the use of rechargeable energy and teaming up with Regatta provides us with a great platform to push the message of using rechargeable tech and demonstrate the winning performance of our product.

“Regatta sits well with the GP brand as it offers affordable technical products for the everyday outdoor enthusiast, which can be used anywhere. We are really excited about this joint venture and look forward to a continuing a strong partnership.”
