Adventurer, broadcaster, author and travel journalist Monty Halls, joins a line up of celebrities including Helen Skelton, Michaela Strachan and Matt Allwright making guest appearances at the Motorhome & Caravan Show 2019 at the NEC, Birmingham this October.
Halls, who will make a guest appearance on Thursday 17th October, shot to fame due to his three BBC series Great Escapes, where he lived on the west coasts of Scotland and Ireland with his dog Reuben.
He also went on to present the multi-award-winning BBC NHU blue chip series Great Barrier Reef, The Fisherman’s Apprentice, again for the BBC, a series for Discovery and Channel 5 and the Channel 4 series last year My Family and the Galapagos.
A former Royal Marines Officer who worked for Nelson Mandela during the peace process in the early nineties, Halls left the forces to pursue a career in expeditions, travel journalism, and marine biology. He has since led teams in some of the most challenging environments on Earth.
Taking place from 15th-20th October 2019 at the NEC, Birmingham, the Motorhome and Caravan Show boasts the UK’s largest display of motorhomes, caravans, campervans, trailer tents, caravan holiday homes and lodges and accessories all under one roof.
Attractions across the six days will include appearances in the LIVE Theatre from a line-up of famous faces who will share their passion for the great outdoors, stories and top tips. In addition, a number of well-known chefs will inspire audiences with live cookery demonstrations.
Set over 11 halls, the Motorhome and Caravan Show will welcome around 100,000 visitors across six days.
