The annual Outdoor Industry Association conference taking place at Shrigley Hall, Cheshire on 13th & 14th March has secured sponsorship from UK software company, Hark.
The sponsorship reflects a key shift in the industry’s focus on digitalisation which is one of the key talking points at the event. Hark is a long-time software vendor to apparel and footwear brands in the outdoor industry.
Speaking about this year’s sponsorship, Hark’s Marketing Manager Ben Barnes said: “Hark has been an OIA member for many years and we’re delighted to be joining the other great sponsors of the conference. Events like this give us a chance to hear the stories brands are telling around digital transformation. Ecommerce and marketplaces tend to dominate the conversation, so we’re excited to share how our new aHub PIM supports better product data management for these channels which is key to omni-channel success.”
The conference is attended by OIA members and is an opportunity to network and discuss opportunities and threats affecting the industry. The conference also hosts a number of guest speakers which this year features David Rutley MP – Minister for DEFRA and the third person in history to ski solo to both the North and South poles, Ben Saunders.
