On the 25th of March, The Original Muck Boot Company and Cotswold Outdoor will be hosting an evening with special guest Kate Humble at Cotswold Outdoor in Covent Garden.
The talk will provide an insight into Humble’s love affair with walking and connecting with the great outdoors. She will be sharing detailed and personal experiences from her established career in the British countryside gained through presenting a long list of popular programmes incuding Springwatch and Autumnwatch.
It will link to her book Thinking on my feet where she discusses the effect the outdoors has on our minds and bodies. During the event, attendees will get the opportunity to ask questions about her career and extensive knowledge on the outdoors. There will also be a number of special offers and promotions throughout the event to celebrate Muck Boot’s ranges now being available in Cotswold stores throughout the UK. All proceeds from ticket sales will be going to the WWT (Wildfowl & Wetland Trust).
The charity works to protect and restore wetlands which are crucial for protecting our environment and endangered species, as well as inspiring individuals to reconnect with nature.
“By restoring wetlands, WWT can achieve so many different things in different places. It might help prevent flooding in a village in Somerset, or create somewhere wild for inner-city pupils to play,” said Humble.
The charity encourages people to get outside and explore wetland sites all around the UK.
