Bolstering Kampa’s growth in the region ahead of 2019, and to support the retail stores committed to stocking their tents, awnings, and accessories, Kampa has dispatched its Support and Events Team on a whistle-stop tour of Denmark.
Over 20 Kampa retailers from across Denmark were in attendance as well as representation from the outdoor industry in Norway and Sweden. With the help of their Danish agents, awning, tent and accessory training was delivered over a three-day period.
Covering everything from repairs and maintenance, to correctly setting up and demoing inflatable products. As well as sharing in depth product knowledge including the sizing, materials, and layouts of tents and awnings. This newly learned knowledge and expertise will be fed back in store to improve the service to Kampa end-users.
Merete Outzen, Kampa’s Danish agent, commented: “All of the retailers came to us personally to say the training was very good, and that they’ve learned a lot. It was great to see many retailers brought additional sales staff, ensuring the knowledge is distributed around all of each store. We are hoping to roll this out across Scandinavia in the months to come.”
