New Zealand-based Alchemy Equipment has appointed Rafertrading from Hengelo, Holland as its new representation for Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg.

Former Bergans country manager Raoul Ferenschild will start his own agency and said he is thrilled to work with the urban lifestyle brand from the other side of the world.

“I have loved Alchemy Equipment from the first moment I saw them at a tradeshow a few years back. They have a very unique approach how to combine technical performance with an enduring style. I am super excited to have now the opportunity to get this brand established in the BeNeLux markets”, said Ferenschild.

Frank Spiewack, the brand’s VP of Global Sales and Market Development added: “It’s great to work with Raoul again after we have already worked successfully together for Macpac and Icebreaker. His market knowledge and overall drive will help us to get a stronger foothold in those important markets. And he is an overall great guy who is well liked by everyone, a great addition to our European sales team”.

Ferenschild will take over on 1st June.  The representation was vacant after former sales agent Yves Sarto moved on to become Oxbow’s country manager.

Alchemy Equipment will launch its Spring/Summer 2020 collection at the Premium trade show in Berlin in July. The collection will already be presented at Rafertrading’s showroom in Leusden from early June.
